DAN BORSKY, ESQ. LL.M. TAXATION

Partner, Enterprise Advisory Group LLC

Dan Borsky founded Enterprise Advisory Group LLC (EAG) in 2005. EAG is an economic development consultancy for the public and private sectors, negotiating and securing multi-state tax and business incentives for businesses of all sizes. Dan also assists in site selection and has consulted with multiple municipalities in helping to configure their economic development programs and policies.

Dan has identified, negotiated and implemented non-dilutive funding (including tax credits, grants and loan packages) in excess of $250,000,000 for clients in the manufacturing, healthcare, retail, distribution, marketing, technology, real estate and e-commerce sectors. This has included work with various Finance Authorities, Real and Personal Property Tax Abatements, Enterprise Zones and associated credits, Community Reinvestment Areas, Investment Tax Credits, State Job Creation Tax Credits, Local Job Creation Tax Credits, various Multi-State Grant Programs, Financing and Training Programs.

Dan spent five years with Ernst & Young LLC in their Columbus, Ohio State & Local Tax Consulting Practice and has been a featured speaker for the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors, the Columbus Commercial Industrial and Investment Realtors (CCIIR) organization, the Ohio Tax Conference, Akron Tax Club and Ohio Society of CPAs.

Dan is a graduate of the Capital University Law School and is a member of the Ohio Bar. Dan subsequently completed the Legal Masters in Taxation program at Capital University Law School and earned BA’s in Political Science & Zoology from Miami University (OH). Dan currently serves on the Board of Directors for XTek Partners, a woman-owned enterprise technology company based in Dublin, Ohio.

W. MARK JUMP, ESQ.

Mark Jump is one of the founders and principals of Enterprise Advisory Group LLC (EAG). He is an attorney and seasoned entrepreneur as a founder, investment banker, and investor for a number of ventures. Mr. Jump has been instrumental in EAG’s business development and community outreach efforts. He has been particularly active in educating our existing clients, referring advisors, early stage start-ups, growing companies and various entrepreneurial forums regarding the requirements and availability of state tax incentives and non-dilutive capital sources. Mr. Jump is active in the central and northeast Ohio entrepreneurial echo system. Recently, he has participated in the Aspire Conference in Columbus, Ohio and the Bounce Innovation Hub in Akron, Ohio. In 2018-2019 he served as the Strategic Alliance Chair of the local Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) Board. As such, he is the local liaison between EO Columbus, composed of some 100 founders of entrepreneurs of qualified businesses, and its local sponsors. He is the incoming 2019-2020 EO Accelerator Chair of the Board. As Accelerator Chair, Mr. Jump will be spearheading local efforts to help growing businesses evolve into emerging businesses. Mr. Jump has also been active in the Techstars’ Start Week.

JAMIE GENTRY, MBA

Partner, Enterprise Advisory Group LLC

Jamie Gentry joined Enterprise Advisory Group LLC (EAG) in 2010 and focuses on negotiating tax and business Incentives for businesses of all sizes with a special focus on sources of non-dilutive capital for emerging high tech and software development companies.  Jamie has identified, negotiated and implemented tax credit and business incentive packages for numerous corporate and individual clients in the technology, software development, manufacturing, distribution, insurance, and e-commerce sectors.  A diverse history of projects has enabled Jamie to work with all types of incentive programs including; Real and Personal Property Tax Abatements, Enterprise Zones and associated credits, Investment Tax Credits, State Job Creation Tax Credits, Local Job Creation Tax Credits, State Grant Programs, various Financing Programs, Training Programs, and Energy Efficient funding.

Prior to joining EAG, Jamie developed a deep knowledge of the public sector serving in various economic development roles at the state and local level of government.  During his tenure at the Ohio Department of Development, Jamie utilized all available state and local incentive programs in order to facilitate nearly $3 billion of new investment around the State of Ohio.  Jamie also served as an industry specialist for the Ohio Department of Development focusing on Ohio’s agriculture industry as well as General Electric’s enormous Ohio presence.  Jamie began his career on the local level serving as the Director of Economic Development for Fayette County overseeing all aspects of business development for Fayette County.

Jamie earned a Masters in Business Administration from Ohio University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Administration from Wright State University.  Jamie has also been certified by the International Economic Development Council in various areas of economic development such as marketing, attraction, and redevelopment.  In addition to business consulting, Jamie is also the Chairman of the Grandview Heights Planning Commission.
